Mel Bolen calls North Star Pottery home near Humboldt Saskatchewan. Creating ceramics for over 40 years Mel has a mature and developed studio practice. Added to his highly decorative functional wear Mel has challenged himself with a creative expressive salt sculptural work. Always intrigued he has added wood firing in a new anagama kiln and expanded his sculptural palette.

A past resident glass artist from Saskatchewan now resides in New Brunswick. Lynne's flame glass beads combined with silver, various cut glass and gemstones results in unique jewellery items in an array of colors and designs.

M.Craig lives and works in his metal studio in Saskatoon. Forged and fabricated steel are his foundation of works. Foraying into other metals- copper, aluminum, and recycled metal and wood complement his sculptures.

Louisa is a glass artist who combines metal and mixed media in her sculptures. She works and teaches workshops out of her studio in Meacham.

Dee Funk worked as a potter for 14 years before completing her BFA from there University of Regina in 2008. She currently resides in rural Saskatchewan. Her process driven practice includes drawing, functional pottery and wood fired ceramics.

Karen works out of her studio at Humboldt. She draws and paints.. As a lover of the outdoors, Saskatchewan’s landscapes and its fauna are often her subject. Painting in pastels, oils, acrylics and inks. Karen depicts her creatures with an intimate sensitivity and her landscapes reflect a time loved in their midst.

Internationally recognized wood artist resides at Saskatoon, Sk and provides the Hand Wave Gallery with an array of funtional turned wood bowls, platters and vases and sculptural works including, fish, shelf units and paper thin wood turnings.

Bonny Houston of Hotshop Glass Studio in Calgary creates an array of drinking vessels, bottles, plates, bird paper weights and sculptures in exotic colors and shapes.

June Jacobs lives in Meacham owns and operates The Hand Wave Gallery and has an art practice based in textiles. Her sculptures explore the organic life forms in her rural landscape which is reflected in the shapes and colour palette.

JacQueline Keller is a multimedia artist with a BFA in Fibre from Alberta University of the Arts. She is especially captivated by the tapestry process and how it facilitates translations of colour and light.

Cecile’s work is influenced by her South Saskatchewan rural roots, 30 years in northern Saskatchewan, meditations and travels to Asia.

Wendy Parsons and Zach Dietrich operate their studio practice in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. Wendy’s figurative work incorporates human and animal forms..Her animal figures display a sense of humor and mischief. Made of stoneware clay, the sculptures are high fired in a wood fired kiln with the ash deposits accenting the works.

Jack had an extensive ceramic history as past Head of Fine Arts Ceramic program at the University of Regina, muralist with work on The Sturdy Stone Building in downtown Saskatoon to recent recipient of Life Time Achievement Award from the Government of Saskatchewan , the prestigeous Saidie Bromfman plus numerous other awards.Jacks ceramics are luscious and graceful and treasures to behold.
